🇬🇧 EA FC 2026 Tournament Rules – Goal for a Cause
1. Introduction
The Goal for a Cause tournament is organized by Odessa Plus, exclusively for Orange employees.
Each goal scored symbolically contributes to helping a child as part of the tournament’s solidarity initiative.
The final stages will be broadcast live.
2. Rule Acceptance
By registering, each participant fully accepts all rules stated in this document.
3. Eligibility
The tournament is open exclusively to Orange employees who meet the official registration criteria.
4. Gameplay Conditions
4.1 Competition Format

All matches are played in 1v1 format.

National Teams only.

Matches are played in Normal Mode, following the rule below: Both players may divide the playing time however they wish; however, only one player is allowed to play at any given time.
4.2 Competitive Rules
A participant may be disqualified in case of:

no-show,
-
failure to connect,
-
refusal to start the match.
-
PS+ is mandatory.

4.4 Unintentional Interruption
In case of a disconnection or unintentional interruption, tournament admins will determine the fairest solution, which may include:

match resumption,

score reconstruction,

or full replay.
5. Tournament Format
5.1 Group Stage
-
Teams are divided into groups.
-
Single round-robin format.
-
Points system:
-
Win: 3 points
-
Draw: 1 point
-
Loss: 0 points
-
-
The top four teams in each group qualify for the knockout stage.
5.2 Knockout Stage
-
Single-elimination format.
-
From the quarter-finals onward, the competition will be played in a home-and-away format.

Tiebreak Rule – Support Match in Case of Aggregate Draw
If the aggregate score is tied after the home and away matches, a third support match will be played in sudden death (the first player to score qualifies).
Determining the Host of the Support Match
The host of the third match will be the player who has scored the highest total number of goals throughout the tournament (all matches included since the start of the competition).
If both players have scored the same number of goals, the tiebreak will be based on defensive performance: the host will be the player who has conceded the fewest goals throughout the tournament -
